1+ years of experience as a Dental/Medical Receptionist
*High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
*Experience with scheduling, re-scheduling and an electronic medical recordsystem
*Good telephone etiquette
*Exceptional Organizational skills
*HIPAA Compliance patient privacy rules experience
Qualifications (pref)
*Experience work in dental office a plus
*Proficient in Dentrix software a plus
*Experience as a dental assistant preferred
*Dental X-ray certification preferred
Description & Duties
*Greeting and welcoming patients
*Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed
*Preparing patients' charts and daily schedules for the dental staff
*Verifying insurance/method of payments, collecting payments and copays
*Performing general office duties, answering phone, confirm appointments and messages via phone or software
*Cross train to perform dental assistant duties, stock operatory, cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments as needed
